Hi, my name is Renny. Welcome to my blog! I have been reading books ever since I can remember but never thought about sharing my experience with other people. Up until my early twenties I now and again told my friends about some good book I read but it was more like a remark mentioned in passing. Then I got a job in an office with like-minded people and we started swapping books and recommending good reads to each other. This went on for few years and I fully enjoyed the more in-depth talks about the books we had. Life went on, I changed jobs and moved to different city and once again ended up in an office with people who like to read plenty of books and talk about them. One of my colleagues was a member of a book club and I started thinking that this might be something I would enjoy too. So, it didn’t take long and I stumbled upon a local book club that was just forming (I only missed their first meet up). I didn’t really know what to expect and how does the book club work but I took the plunge and jumped right into the deep end. And it was the best thing I could have done! I have enjoyed my new circle of friends for over a year now and I am getting excited about each new book and every monthly meeting.

I thought maybe you were blogging about your bike trip. That would have really interested me. Book reviews are good, too. I think I’ll follow you, because my book review are all about history, politics and economics. Fascinating subjects for me, but sometimes to much of the same ol’. Maybe I can synopsize the great novels this way and not seem like such an illiterate in normal circles.

Thanks for following me, I try to read books bit off the beaten path and only now and again include a title that most people heard about. It is good to have some sort of variety and to challenge yourself to read different genres. It is always a nice surprise when the book turns up to be a great read 
Following you too as I have bit of a soft spot for history and know a little bit about economics…
